Udo Greve continues to regain his form after his self-confessed "implosion on the final climb" of the Nong Chaeng GP, once again picking up valuable points with a 4th place finish in the tiny Spanish municipality of Ribadeo. Although his team mates sacrificed themselves to try and bring him to the line in contention the race was torn apart near the end by the Momoe18 Team; eventually resulting in Udo on his own and out of the top places.
Greve is the first to admit his weakness was exposed at Nong Chaeng and again yesterday at Ribadeo, "my climbing needs work for sure, but I've placed in the last 2 rides since, so just glad to have recovered my confidence". With the season closing fast and many teams pulling out all the stops on their hunt for points, it's clear Udo stills relishes ambitions of another top spot before the dust settles on season 9 "you know I felt really good for most of yesterday. I've had to push all the doubt out of my head and re-focus. Mentally I feel stronger for it. So, with my team on point and a little luck...it's not impossible".
